Staff Mobility
It is possible for AGU staff to participate in the following activities within the scope of Erasmus+.
Teaching Activity:
Staff teaching mobility is an activity that allows a teaching staff at AGU to teach and/or to carry out joint academic/educational activities at a higher education institution (ECHE holder) in one of the countries associated with the Program.
It is mandatory to have a bilateral agreement between AGU and the invited institution. Please click here to see bilateral agreements.
Training Mobility:
Staff training mobility is an activity that allows any staff member employed at AGU to receive training in one of the countries associated with the Program. Within the scope of this activity, it is possible to receive various trainings (such as on-the-job trainings, observation processes, etc.) in order to improve the skills of the staff in subjects related to his/her current job.
The organizations to be trained may be enterprises, training centres, research centres, chambers and associations of commerce, schools, foundations, non-profit organisations, career guidance providers, professional counselling and guidance organisations, higher education institutions and other organisations specified in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.
Duration of Staff Mobility
Activities must be carried out in accordance with the minimum and maximum duration set by the European Commission.
For staff teaching and training mobility, the duration of the activity is a minimum of 2 consecutive days and a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel days.
In order for the teaching mobility to be considered as a valid activity, at least 8 teaching hours must be given. In cases where the activity is longer than 1 week, the number of compulsory teaching hours must increase in proportion to the duration. (for 2 weeks and 16 teaching hours)
In case the beneficiaries carry out the activity for less than 2 days except for a force majeure event, the activity is considered invalid and no grant payment is made to the beneficiary.

Grant Support
The amount of per diem to be paid to the staff is calculated according to the country of destination and the duration of the visit. The amounts shown in the table are in Euro.
Travel Expense Calculations
The amount of travel expenses to be paid to the staff benefiting from the staff mobility activity is calculated by the "Distance Calculator". The distance calculator can be accessed from the link below:

Example of Grant Calculation
In a situation where the staff member who will participate in a training or teaching mobility has been accepted for a 3-day activity in Germany
Grant Support: 3(days) x 144 + 2(travel days)x144 = 720 €
Travel Support: Where the distance band is between 2000 and 2999 KM: 360 €
Total: 720€ + 360€ = 1080 € grant support will be received.
Non-Grant ("0" Grant) Staff Status
Staff can participate in the activity without a grant if they prefer. In order to benefit from the activity without a grant, an application must be made and the application must be evaluated together with other applications.
The difference for zero grant staff is that they are not included in the budget calculations and are not paid. Not receiving a grant is not a reason for staff not to be included in the selection process.
