The Erasmus English Proficiency Examination (EEPE) aims to rank candidate Erasmus students according the ability of to study effectively in the academic environment of a university (abroad) where the medium of instruction is English. The EEPE will consist of two parts:

a. A written test of both reading comprehension and knowledge of academic writing conventions;

b. A written test of listening comprehension. This section of the examination will begin with a 25-30 minute lecture during which students are required to take their own notes. Students will be supplied with questions only after the completion of the lecture.

Please note that the length of the examination has not yet been determined - on reflection, I think that the exam will last in the order of two hours.
